Hello and welcome to my little space on the internet!
I am taking a break from all the beautiful sunsets online to take in those around me, and to make my own sunshine on these cold, short days — to design, sew, walk, photograph, read, cook, explore, swim … all the things I will miss terribly when I can no longer see. (Between you and me, that day will never come, but it is best to never waste a single moment anyway!)
But most importantly, I am taking a break to write. My memoir, my children’s book series, my travel writing, and blog posts, for here and elsewhere.
And when I return, I will be sharing posts and photos from my ‘Daily Bailey’ holiday, a sunset video, and hopefully, the song my husband has written for me will be released.
Keep enjoying those sunsets and tagging me as I would still LOVE to have them. I haven’t counted yet, but I think I have reached the half-way mark of my desired tally. Just a note, I see all the sunsets on Instagram and Twitter, but if you are tagging me but not sharing it to my page, I cannot see the sunsets on Facebook. If you have never had a comment from me, or at the very least, a ‘like’, it is possible I have not come across it. (And if not, thank you!)
And keep sending me those beautiful messages. They encourage me more than you could ever know.
(And if you have sent me a not yet published guest sunset, I will be scheduling them when I am back online. And if you would like to share one, I would love to hear from you.)
